I think hanging might be the method for me due to its immediacy and reliability. I'm thinking about buying a pull-up bar and using it as my anchor point in the doorway.

I have roommates, but they frequently leave for work for several hours during most evenings, so I have ample time to hang myself without being interrupted.

I ordered a pull-up bar and rope from Amazon. I have the next five days off work, and I'm thinking of CTB during this time.

I am doing psh, please if you are going to do this, make sure you are comfortable, and make sure the rope is at the bottom of the neck with a more thick rope. I really don't want this for you, you can always turn around. You can always turn back there's no shame in backing out. There's time for you.

The rope I ordered is about 0.25 inches thick. Why put it below the adam's apple? Wouldn't it press against the adam's apple and hurt? Wouldn't it also slide upwards toward the jaw as I hang anyway?

My pull-up bar came today and my rope will be coming tomorrow. I'll set up the bar tonight to make sure it fits my door frame and supports my weight. I might CTB tomorrow if I can muster the willpower.

Everything feels like a goddamn chore. I should have hung myself years ago.

I just tried dangling from my hands. When I realized how much pressure would be exerted upon my neck, I said, "This is going to hurt really bad. Alright."

This is going to hurt really bad. Alright.
