At the moment I am in the USA. And I would like to commit suicide. What do I need to do so that my family does not have problems with the authorities and the law?
As long as you keep them totally out of your suicide method, and make sure that they don't leave fingerprints on tools you're going to use it should be fine. You may additionally leave physical suicide note, so that nobody has suspicion that you were forced to, or murdered. Your handwriting will prove, and can be used as a documentation if there was any doubt.
They won't get in any trouble for your suicide. You don't have to worry about that. I imagine most law authorities are pretty sympathetic to the families that lose a loved one. And if not they are impartial at worst.

Your family won't be prosecuted because you commit suicide. Someone would only be in legal trouble if they physically helped you to do it. No one is obligated to stop you from committing suicide even if you tell them you are going to do it. They can't be prosecuted for not getting involved. Mandated reporters (such as your doctor, therapist, or social worker) are the only ones who are legally obligated to report you and can get in trouble if you tell them and they don't do anything to try and stop you.
You should leave a note clearly explaining that this was your idea, and nobody told you to do this or helped you in any way.
As long as they're not involved, you should be fine. Wouldn't hurt to leave a note in your own handwriting specifically saying that only you had anything to do with your suicide. Also, don't have a partner, as that eliminates the partner's family coming after yours and your assets for wrongful death.
