Really love the third one...
These two out of the hundreds of pictures in my folder are probably my deepest favorites. The peace of evening time, and the ideation of a quiet dusty road. The fence to me has always been the symbolic barrier between life and death, taking that first step towards happiness. These two invoke such comfiness and nostalgia within me it's hard to put into words.
I really like this, its nice and simple.View attachment 62425
simply a comfy cat
Mushi-shi is all kinds of comfy too, I wish that they'd make something like it, the closest I've seen is kinos journey but even then that's pushing it to an extent.
That is a really good pick, haibane renmei is a absolute gem in terms of comfiness, the purgatory setting, the symbolism of death and passing on, just awakening in this strange place amongst friends. Love it so much that I bought the sucker on dvd.Yeah, it doesn't get much better than Mushi-shi as far as that's concerned. It's tough to beat on that front, but I really like Haibane Renmei for its comfiness factor as well. Its OST was also composed by Kow Otani who also did the OSTs for ICO and Shadow of the Colossus and, I for one, consider him a maestro when it comes to creating a comfy atmosphere.
Love it so much that I bought the sucker on dvd.
