I've heard stuff about mixing alcohol and Clonazepam together might cause CTB. I have both on hand and thought I'd ask here if it's just fear mongering or legit.

I know on the non CTB methods overdosing on prescription meds doesn't really work. Is Clonazepam and alcohol in that category?

Clonazepam and alcohol both depress the central nervous system so yes combining them can be dangerous, especially at high doses. The risk comes from respiratory depression, where your breathing slows or stops. It's more likely if you're alone, asleep, and not monitored. But "can" is not the same as "will." Clonazepam has a long half life and builds up slower than benzos like alprazolam or temazepam.

That said, this combo is not a reliable CTB method. Most people survive, often with nothing more than blackouts, vomiting, and maaaaaaaybe a hospital stay.

The problem with pills is they are difficult to OD on. Everyone (dr, pharmacist, t.v. etc) have done a great job in making us believe if you take x number of pills then you will OD and die. I'm guilty of believing them and tried a few times prior. This is a popular suicide attempt route, and people fail miserably and wake up sick and/ or stuck with lifelong complications. I seen the link posted above on why pills are a bad option, I highly suggest you read it to get a better understanding and save yourself from being sick.

info is much appreciated. One question is would there be a specific dosage of Clonazepam that would help guarantee it. Have a ton stored up.

If there was a guaranteed amount, CTB by benzos would be listed as a viable option in the PPH and more people would be using it.

There might be a magic number floating out there but for most meds it's oftentimes a crazy amount that you're going to vomit up or physically be unable to consume enough in the first place.

Clonazepam only can be fatally overdosed. But you would need absurd dose, and its still very unreliable.
Alcohol increases the risk. Benzos and alcohol potentiate each other. However the risk is still not high enough to make this method reliable. I estimate you would need to drink 0.5-1L of vodka and eat like 200+ mg clonazepam and still it would be a 50/50 chance to die. Too low to make it viable.

But you are going in right direction: CNS depressants. Death from CNS depression is peaceful. But to the combo of clonaz and alc please add opioids. They are the puzzle piece you miss.

Also preserve your clonazepam, its Pefect support drug for ANY suicide. Perfect for SN, very good for other methods like hanging, jumping. Many people on SaSu dont have benzos available.

Finally found the amount. According to this guide, it would take 272,000 pills of Clonazepam for a 150lb person to OD.
