Clarity after taking 30mg of metoclopramide

Hello, I was wondering since properly preparing the three glasses requires measuring, thorough mixing, and a certain amount of concentration and precision... ...could taking 3 x 10mg cause drowsiness or a loss of focus? What do you think?

Thanks.

Great question. Firstly, I'd assume you're aware of this already but make sure to test at least 10mg of metoclopramide and tracking your reaction to it before attempting to ctb.
As for your question, I'm aware that 30mg is the maximum limit per 24 hours, and I've also read that you could have some involuntary twitching under high doses. Obviously, that wouldn't be ideal while mixing the SN cocktail. Additionally, you will get drousy and lose focus like you mentioned.
As far as I'm aware, the effects of metoclopramide don't kick in for 30-60 minutes after you take the dosage, and they'll reach their peak effect around 2 hours in. So make sure you're done mixing within that time, or mix before taking the dose if possible.
Cheers!

Thanks, yes, I tried it in 2020, but it didn't really do anything for me.

That's great for your case then! I doubt much will change, but if you're planning on ctb soon I'd recommend doing another test run on 10mg metoclopramide again because one's metabolism, weight, and reactions can certainly change in 6 years (certainly doesn't feel like it's been that long since 2020 lmao).
I'm sure you've read Stan's guide to SN poisoning, and there are two main methods he highlighted: the 48 hour regimen and the stat dose. If you find yourself especially sensitive to the antiemetic, I'd recommend going with the stat dose as there's a 45 minute buffer between your very first ingestion of metoclopramide and drinking the SN cocktail. Since you don't seem to be too sensitive to the antiemetic as far as we know for now, you should be fine for these 45 minutes and able to precisely precisely measure, mix and prepare your SN drink. Best wishes <3

I can't do it over two days because I'm already taking 150 mg of sertraline, 400 mg of Tegretol, 600 mg of quetiapine, and 20 mg [of something else], so there would be an interaction. I will NOT take my medication on the day itself, and then I'll take it that evening at 11:55 PM or midnight. Yes, I know Stan and Vizzy; I won't take...

Ah I see, then yes, a stat format is much more suitable like I mentioned. However, you mentioned that you won't take your medications on the day of, to avoid interactions. I'd like to note that many medicines have long half lives, meaning that they will stay in your system from the last dose and interact even if you skipped your meds that day. I'm not sure about the exact half lives of all of your medications, but I doubt they're short. Especially SSRI's like Zoloft, usually have long half lives and stay in your system. Make sure to keep that in mind.
Cheers!

Pensez-y.
Acclamations!
Thanks for advices
