Lately, I've been leaning toward this method of ctb:
I drive out to a scenic spot with some snacks and maybe a can or two of beer. I light charcoal in a small grill and wait patiently until the coals are glowing red, with no more smoke. Then I carefully transfer the coals into the back of my car.

I recline the middle seats, cover the back windows with cloth or bags so it's not immediately visible from the outside, and settle into the seat.

Before anything else, I schedule my messages-setting at least a 4-hour delay-so that if I change my mind or somehow make it through, I have a chance to cancel them.

Then I put on some good music, lean back, and just look out at the scenery.

That's a plan. Keep the hot charcoals/grill away from the upholstery/carpet, or you may die in a completely different way that may not be quite as "peaceful" as CO.

CO Poisoning is a pretty good way to go, but I'm not sure your car is the best way to go.

This is also my method. I have charcoal, a pot, beach sand and have done a ton of research. This method is very popular in Asian countries. The downside is it can take 3 to four hours to ctb. Although it puts you to sleep much faster. I have a few packs of Marlboro lights, my weed which I'm not smoking after 7pm tonight, I plan to crush 2 coals, put in pot of sand. Light it and wait. Windows have to be up. There's a chance il fail so I also ordered SN last night. Also if the car doesn't work, many stories of people renting hotels for the night.

People only fail in the method if they use to few charcoal.

its better to overshoot and black out in 5-10min, then to undershoot and survive this method with brain damages..etc
I will be lighting 9kg of pure carbon charcoal ( or at least as close as possible, i have thus far found one which is 90% carbon, hoping to find something cleaner be next week)

Thank you for noting that. I figured I'd only need a few but your right. Better to over shoot. 9kg sounds better. Then light, wait til smoke clears and put on floor board front or back. Better to have thick rubber mats under it. I actually took all the carpet up in my car awhile back. I've also heard a story of a lady who put her charcoal flowerpot with sand in her trunk and she successfully succeeded. I have the same resource except I have a tin liner so if the pot cracks. It will be fine. It's a common method in Asian countries and if you Google charcoal burning death then click images you can see photos of different successful stories. And the items used.

Yeah, funny enough, that's where I got the idea from. I don't remember the exact name, but there was a K-pop star who died using this method, and it was all over the news. Later, I saw it again in a K-drama, which made me start researching it more seriously. It turns out to be a pretty reliable method.

but I've booked an Airbnb instead of doing it in a car. it feels way too confined and risky, especially since my car is really small.
Now, the plan is to go to a small, compact place, completely isolated from civilization, with an incredible view.

Yeah air bnb would be great. I just prefer my car. It's a sedan. But other option is air bnb. I just ordered SN this morning just in case I fail. I plan to light it up tonight, I don't have a choice. I must ctb one way or another. I've over stayed my welcome on this ses pool of an 🌍. It can take a few hours to surcum to CO but it's suppose to be painless and if you do it when your super tired, or take some sort of benzo or relaxant then all should go as planned.

I hope you find peace brother. I'll see you on the other side.
Make sure you're at peace - don't rush, don't act on impulse. Just relax into it.
Wear a big smile, because you've cracked the simulation.

Aren't tents the popular route for this?

Yeah, it was between that and an Airbnb, but I found a really incredible spot. Plus, with a solid structure, I don't have to worry about anything leaking through. Walls are much more insulating than whatever tents are made of.
Sure, there are ways to insulate a tent better... but honestly, I just don't want to have to deal with that.

Thank you. Same to you too brother. See ya on the flip side. And yes. The key is to be relaxed as going into it. I also wanted to mention I think his name was Kim. I saw a c scene photo awhile back of him laid back in his driver seat, the grill on the other side and about 4 packs of luck strike cigarettes laying around. Just make sure you don't have anything that a coal ember can pop up and catch on fire. Hence no impulsiveness. Precaution to this photo. Images
