It is tricky. You have to have a near air-tight vehicle or tent which is difficult. Also, people seem to struggle a bit knowing when the coals have stopped smoking so they will not just end up coughing. It also should not be attempted in a house as that endangers others people. Many here to not have the ability to have private space to attempt.

I've read it's most popular in Asia, South Korea is the highest i think, lots of idols and celebrities that CTB from this method
in Hong Kong i read that they got an uptick from this method because of a popular news involving 2 students
And in Japan there are some cases where online suicide pacts use this method in the car

I tried it once in my bathroom, don't think I waited long enough for the coals to die down, too much smoke I couldn't handle it. House smelled like smoke for a while

From my reseasrch you dont even need to seal a car/house when someone does this in a garage other people in the house die But im not sure about the process can someone tell me if i put a few supermarket one time charcoal grills in my car will that do it or do i have to buy a bag of charcoal and then get a grill and light it in my car?

This method seems ideal. You see accidental deaths in large rooms that aren't sealed. The failures in cars and tents where they have been sealed. It's a confusing method. But seemingly ideal in its peacefulness.

Been there, almost done that. It's really peaceful if and only if you manage to die and not wake up somehow. If you wake up from this, the symptoms you experience is beyond terrible though.
