Changed my mind, now need to dispose of sn

I have been in a really bad mental health crisis for a while now, which escalated a couple of weeks ago to the point that I ordered sn. I was certain that I wanted to cbt, but now that my mind has cleared a bit I've desided I want to atleast try recovery. I tried to cancel my sn order, but since the order had already been shipped the store said that they can't cancel it, but if I don't pick up the order it will be send back and they will give me a refund.
I don't know if I should pick up the order and dispose of it then or have it send back. If I don't pick it up I'm anxious that authorities are going to notice it and I will get in trouble, but bringing it to a waste disposal facility also stresses me. I was thinking that I could tell the workers that I found the sn when clearing out my grampa's garage or something, but I don't know.
This is mostly just a vent post, but addvice is greatly appreciated <3

It seems nobody replied to this. If you are sure you wanna dispose it then just deliver it as "unknown substance" to the toxic waste disposal in your town where you live. There won't be any questions, I presume.

Although you plan a recovery, think about it twice whether you really wanna dispose your SN or just keep it in a safe place for an emergency.

Thank you for your reply. I think that I've decided to let the package get send back to the seller. I didn't have any issues with the delivery so I don't think that there will be any when it's send back.

I was thinking about keeping the sn in case I wanted to use it in the future, but I'm worried that I will end up using in a state of crisis when I'm not thinking clearly. I have realized that I'm not yet certain enough to know for sure I want to cbt, so I don't want to have that option right now. And now I know where I can get sn very easily and cheaply so if I do come to the decision that I want to cbt I can buy it again.

It's not illegal to own and it isn't a controlled substance. You should have no issues with the authorities letting it get sent back.

I did the exact same thing as you, I ordered my SN however regretted my decision and was unable to cancel it in time despite not wanting it, I was suggested to throw it away by the seller however I have no idea how I'm going to throw it away, especially when it will just be a complete waste of money and I will have to buy it again if I actually feel suicidal again, though I'm scared of ending up just doing it on complete impulse because I have it in my possession, the days I've spent waiting for the package to arrive has stressed me out and I keep dreaming about it

I get how you feel. The way I rationalized my decision to not keep the sn was that I think that its good to have a cool off period from when you order the sn to when you actually have it, so you know that you actually want to use it instead of being able to use it impulsively. But having to waste the money sucks, especially if you ordered from dmc or an another place with similar prices.

Nobody on this forum can tell you where to buy SN. It would expose the sellers & promptly get them shut down.
If you look thru the megathreads there are enough clues to point you in the right direction.

Why not flush it down the toilet or bury it underground? Just make sure to get it out of the container and mix it well with sand and bury it deep down. I don't know why you want to do it through waste disposal facility.
