A few moments ago I tried the carbon monoxide method through the car and I slept and felt the symptoms and slept for an hour and 16 minutes but I went out and returned home. Tell me, will I die or are there other methods and what is the mistake that prevented me from dying from this attempt?

It's a relatively new Kia Rio. For your information, at first I wanted to try the gas tank in a Tundra, but I couldn't find the key. I also want to ask you: Does putting a bag over your face and closing it before sleeping cause death? And if so, how long does it take to lose consciousness and die?

Newer cars do not produce enough CO to kill people anymore.

No one can or will give you suggestions on how to kill yourself. This is a personal decision you must research and make for yourself. Consult the suicide resource compilations stickied in this forum or the PPH.

I'm drunk rn so sorry if this isn't comprehensive. But newer cars tend to have better catalytic converters which mean there won't be enough carbon monoxide to do much to you. 'Death by car' is pretty outdated as I think that was like 70s?

Yes, you are right in what you say, but I read it all and I don't think it helps. What do you think about putting a bag over my face and closing it while I'm about to sleep? I read that this has killed many people. How long does it take to lose consciousness? And die?

If you're heading into a deep state of unconsciousness, then it might work, but I wouldn't risk it

I am now 19 years old. I just want to ask, when does the loss of consciousness occur after the cyst and death, because I do not want to wake up from the loss of consciousness like the damned times that have passed?

Believe me, I read it all and accessed all the resources. I don't want to live after what happened….I was subjected to domestic violence, neglect, lack of hugs, assault, harassment, assault, and a broken nose. I had a deformed nose. I look at it every day and feel ashamed even though I had surgery that didn't completely remove the defect. Someone hit me and broke my nose. I was slandered by an unjust teacher. She said I was harassed, that I'm dishonorable, that I take antidepressants, and that I'm sick. She tried to pull me out of school, and my girlfriend left me. I was also bullied because my nose is broken and I'm left without dignity and a nose, that I'm a disgrace and worthless. Death and shame cannot bear to live after all that has happened. My nose is broken. The nose is a symbol of dignity and I have lost it. I tried to commit suicide several times and failed. I hope to find a way so I can die before the end of this month. I'm fed up. This is what I want and I'm sorry

Honestly I'm surprised you passed out as newer cars don't produce enough CO due to regulations. Now that it's over you're not going to die, but there have been cases of brain damage from CO exposure. If you notice memory loss, then it may be because of that. You should be fine though, and yes read through the megathread for CO.

Putting a bag over your head probably wouldn't work. The difference between CO and CO2 (one's breath) is that you will feel the suffocation and rip the bag off your head.

I have read many cases of people dying from it and I also think I should do it while I am about to sleep.
