Would running a portable generator in a enclosed space like a car or a small room work for CO poisoning? I heard that charcoal isn't consistent in the CO it produces so I thought that a generator would be a better choice.

it will also have fumes, from memory, another user failed an attempt, forced out due to the noxiousness of the fumes.

Yes, of course, but don't just wing it. Read about it on the megathread liked below and/or in the pph. Get a CO meter so you can test it first to make sure it'll work.

Someone posted a CTB thread last night… their method was CO from charcoal. There haven't been any updates & I have a feeling they were successful. Charcoal can work if done correctly, but a generator does sound easier.

what generator are you talking abt.
there's COgen and diesel/gasoline generators. COgen isn't that easy because the chemicals used in it may be restricted for sale and some brains needed to build one. liquid fuel electricity generators produce a lot of noxious fumes and very noisy.

charcoals are most consistent and easiest way for CO. i even did tests with a co meter and burning briquets in a room and got mildly poisoned. it's deadly as long as the room sealed and there's enough charcoals
