Cant get a therapist in the next 3 years. Im basically legally required to get one.

It is what it is. The lovely country i live in passed a new reform. Wont go too deeply in it, but what it means for me and many others is: we wont get therapy for a LONGGGGG time.

I am required to get therapy because otherwise I cant be permitted to work proper hours at a job. I am too disabled due to my mental illness to work enough hours to make a living. To get support from the agency in charge I need a therapy slot. Due to this new reform I wont be able to get one. Wait lists and offices in my area are filled for the next 3 years. I have tons of diagnoses left to finish, and a fucked up mind to fix. But HOW if the same government who claims im required to get these things done, takes these things away from me? WHAT THE FUCK AM I SUPPOSED TO DO??? I just wanna get a job, move out of this awful environment I live in and try to LIVE for once

Might start saving for a trip to Switzerland at the age of 18 i guess They WANT me to end myself atp idk what else it could be

Fucking hell, that's stupid. Maybe explain to the agency themselves that you can be exempt beacuse of this rule change, or they can book some sessions themselves?

All they can do is do a psychological evaluation from their psychologist but thatll jst say I cant work....I found an organisation that assists younger people in finding therapy and i'll get an appointment there if they have spots available....I think everyones running to em now tho

Aside from capitalist greed it really feels like they just want to let all dysfunctional and non-profitable people die at this point. A universal trend in the west.

I am going thru something different but similiar, where the healthcare system feels like the biggest roadblock when it is and should be the place to turn to in the situation. I am in canada where the wait time is much less at around a year, but even that is absolutely unacceptable for healthcare. the difficulty of getting help just pushes a person to turn to suicide
