Method Can you kill yourself with blanks?

In germany, the only viable Gun method are "Schreckschusswaffen". These are just normal Guns, that are only able to fire blanks. So my question would be, if you could blow your brains out with blanks. There is a lot of controversy discussing this. Lots of people like Hexum or Johann Ofner that died from blanks. But other people say, that it´s basically impossible to die from blanks. So that´s why im asking here

It's possible, highly wouldn't recommend it though. Make sure it's front venting.

You can use blank cartridges with an air pistol bullet glued on it in a real gun but Schreckschusswaffen don't have an open barrel so that won't work.

Hexum had a 44 magnum blank , much more power than some other guns.

yet many even here say that a 44 magnum loaded with a bullet is survivable . i don't think so not on the side of the head. or deep in mouth.

And why do you think that?

Because while blanks can potentially be lethal, it's not a tested, reliable setup. Whatever improvised method you come up with is likely gonna be scuffed and janky, which means it has a decent chance of injuring you in a messy, disabling but nonlethal way.

(In my opinion of course, I've never touched a gun)

Huh that's an interesting and unique method! Reminds me of a story, don't know if rumour or true, of someone killing themselves by using a toy gun but substituting the foam bullets with some kind of metal object
