Help can you just tie the noose around your neck?

I've tried multiple times to tie the noose itself, and I did it successfully, making it big enough for my head to fit, but i just wasnt able to tighten it. Im pretty sure its because of the material of the rope i have, so its much more difficult to tighten it. So could I just tie the noose around my neck and go from there? I'm really sorry if this is a really dumb qusetion. Im not in the right headspace right now and everything is a mess.

sorry i cant help, im in the same dilemma. Im struggling to even know what type of rope i need even to tie the knot and i havent found a good anchor
