it would cause the most joy for the short period of time, assuming you can take just enough to keep functioning correctly, i doubt itll counteract the SN salt white blood cell reaction

Never did heroin, so take my advice with a grain of salt.
I doubt it would help, it's effects are really short according to my research, and might make you unable to do anything, including drinking the SN. But to be honest, choosing the calming drug is a mere preference. How are you planning to get the drug inside your body?

Opioids often induce nausea and vomiting. I've never done heroin but when I injected other opioids I'd always have to take gravol 30 minutes before to avoid it. SN is already hard enough to keep down, I think you'd pretty much guarantee vomiting if you did opioids with it.
