Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

People always consider me smart because I know a lot of useless facts, read a lot and generally enjoy culture and the arts. Which is ironic because academically I'm quite shit. I've made consistently bad grades since Kindergarten. It wasn't really from a lack of knowledge about the subject. More so, I had a problem turning in homework which naturally tanked my grades. I remember one kid once congratulating me for finally turning in my homework. For entire school life, I never aimed higher than a C since it was the bare minimum and at least I was passing.

I'm still in community college after like, 6 years. Mostly from dropping in and out as well as changing my major three times. For one semester last year, I decided to actually lock in and I managed to make straight A's. Then I fell into a depressive rut and my streak was ruined. I'm close to finally finishing my associates and this summer I took two classes. I logged into today to turn in a essay only to see an email from my professor saying she dropped me from the class because I had an F and there was no way I was going to make it up by the final day in the semester. I failed it because I forgot to turn in a few assignments in the beginning. This is the 2nd F I've gotten so far.

I'm very ashamed of myself but it's not unlike me. I recently got diagnosed with ADHD and I'm pressing for adderall or quidnell at least. I really do want to get better and I do believe in change through consistent effort. But when you're an academic fuck up your entire life, can you change?

Yes, you can bounce back. I have ADHD too and I suffered tremendously in school and college. I got my degree barely.

I somehow managed to get my foot in the door with a software company. It was for a low level, dead end job. But then I upskilled myself, did some certifications, slowly rose up the ranks.

I recall a while ago you mentioned something about going to the Army. On Reddit I came across this post about an army guy who kept investing all his spare money with a fund manager every year and he became a millionaire in his late 30s.Even posted a screenshot of his portfolio.

Ultimately, you can become successful in life in an N number of ways if you really commit to it.You don't need to be conventionally smart or academically prodigious. I still today meet some of my old friends from school or college and I feel shame at how I did poorly in school compared to them. However today I'm doing better than them.

I was actually in the military for a while before being separated on basis of depression and anxiety lol. I wish I saw more guys as smart as the army guy you mentioned since most people blew their money on stupid shit 90% of the time.

Absolutely. Especially most people in their youth don't have sense. You'd be amazed what time and compound interest can do to even paltry investments.Unfortunately, most people don't have the patience and wisdom in their youth. Most people I see around me are broke,Working well into their old age and unable to retire.
