Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

The day I attempted, I went to the hospital afterwards to check if I was okay physically, (I attempted via helium and was unsuccessful)

Anyway after getting checked I was talked to by a mental health doctor and he wrote down either psychotic or psychosis on my chart, I'd like to know which it was and try look into this a bit more.

He ended up referring me involuntarily to a psych ward and I spent a week there. I refused to change to voluntary throughout the week but lied about improving mood etc to get out.

Can I request medical records from that specific encounter with the doctor?

Yes. When my office does it, we provide a signed "release" from the client authorizing the health entity to provide the complete file to us (or from a certain date). You may want to request the entire file to capture any notes that may have been entered outside of the specific date you saw the doctor. Also, be aware that some doctors keep files separate from the hospital records, so be prepared to ask for both. Where I practice, if a doctor sees a patient in the hospital, then it's the hospital that keeps the records.

I had to get my records due to my failed attempt - you just fill out the required form online or sometimes you can go to the information desk and they may the forms there (all depends on jurisdiction).
