Can i take a bunch of bedranol(propranolol) before hanging myself partially so i passout or just make my SI better?

Or can i just overdose on propranolol? I'm 170cm and 50kg male, idon't know if it even works? I could get my hands on as much as i might need i just need a proper way to end it.

2.8g will do it, but propanolol is an SSRI so your last moments won't be fun. Serotonin syndrome is not worth it IMO, that's why I haven't done this.

I'd like to think propranolol od wouldn't be bad. I mean it's a beta blocker so surely it would just slow your hr until it stops, and you wouldn't be in pain or anything. I don't know for certain though.

Severe toxicity was common, occurring in a quarter of all propranolol overdoses and half of the isolated propranolol ingestions (≥2,000 mg). The outcome was usually favourable with good supportive care, even in severe toxicity.

Sounds like even doses over 2 grams can be recovered from.

Medication ODs are very unpredictable. What can kill one person can barely effect another. We therefore generally advise against attempting to OD with prescription or OTC meds.

On the other hand, it could be useful for quieting SI during an attempt.

propranolol is not an SSRI, it's a beta blocker and cannot cause serotonin syndrome.

Yeah, especially if combined with other meds... But i don't think it'd be pleasant.
