  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

A lot of times when I get really depressed I reach this strange point where over the course of a minute something happens and I become really happy and energetic. I stay like that for fifteen to thirty minutes and then just go back to normal. Does this happen to anyone else and does anyone know why it might be happening?

It's the same with me. Once it's over I'm back to being depressed and exhausted.

I get this feeling on occasion too but since I'm set on CTB this year, I just dismiss this as obnoxiously optimistic intrusive thoughts now. I have noticed that sometimes it happens when I either haven't masturbated in a while or have had too much caffeine.

I get this too and in that moment I usually feel excitement and see a different perspective. Of course it doesn't last

I wouldn't call it happiness but sometimes during even the worst of my depressive episodes, there are times I don't feel as bad or feel kind of calm.

This is textbook manic depression. It happens to me every few days as well.

The short stints of happiness are not enough to live for though. At least not for me...

Sounds Like Bipolar Depression.
But doesn't mood swings in people with bipolar disorder last longer? The time I have that euphoric period is very short. Also, I thought bipolar disorder is chronic but I don't think my depression is. I have also never had these mood swings before a couple years ago.

(sorry if this is way off I don't really know a lot about this)
