I would like to ask if anyone knows how much car gasoline I need to ctb. In litres. I I hope someone can answer that. I'm gonna do it anyways I don't care if you tell me that's a horrible way to die. So if sour readi g this and hesitant because it sounds horrible I'll do it with what I think is sufficient. It would be better to get an answer better than ending up suffering from a disability. I'm low on money and can't afford to die peacefully reliably or even to live.

I'm sorry to do this because you seem to indicate that you don't want this kind of reply. But this will be a horrible, miserable, painful way to go. If you did it, I think you would regret it as soon as you did it. I have no idea what the answer to your question is. I hate that you're going through a hard time financially.

Only thing I would regret is not having money for a better ( guaranteed) suicide method.

This is not the method for someone who doesn't want to risk failing & having to continue to live after their life has been made far worse.
You could wait until you have more to spend. Or you could choose a method that's both reliable and free.

Can you explain why it's not reliable please. And also what is reliable and free would really appreciate it

It's very tricky, you Survival instincts would kick immediately even before feeling the burn and it would very unpredictable, and there is chance attracting people or ending up disable and disfigured.
Also, i don't think any can give you a specific amount of gasoline to use.
Best of luck in whatever your choice is.

I mean I'm not an expert but I'd imagine there's a chance the fire could end up being put out before it takes your life, either by your body naturally trying to put it out or others putting it out. In that case you'd be left with a lot of burns and probably end up more miserable and disabled than whatever's going on with your current situation.
Also I can't help but wonder why you're choosing this method specifically, most people that want to ctb look for the most painless way possible, so choose probably one of the most painful ways to ctb out there? Are you trying to send a message or...?

Well stabbing is not expensive but success rate is low. Anything Injested is not garaunteed. I can't think of anything inexpensive

True even if it has a higher success rate the consequences are MUCH worse if it ends up failing than other methods

Self immolation isn't guaranteed either though tbf, and you can be suffering for much longer than you probably realize. I won't advocate for the death of others for my own sake, but why did you land on lighting yourself on fire compared to say hanging or even ingesting something else?

I mean, wouldn't rope be cheaper to buy and use it for hanging? Or jumping off a tall building? I'm a little suspicious of this post, or could be that you're so overwhelmed that the first thought of a method took over. I've been in the situation where you're just focused on wanting to die and desperate to make it happen, and believe me, that's usually when it goes wrong and you end up living through the attempt.
First thing is to take a step back and evaluate, yes this is easier said than done. Take a deep breathe and try to ease a racing mind.
Whatever you choose to do, doing it on a clear head is better than a rush job that will lead to further suffering.

I recommend watching The Tudors, TV series based on the life of King Henry VIII of England back in the 16th century. If you watch the shots of "heretics" being burned at the stake, you will very quickly drop the notion of setting yourself on fire, believe me! This is absolutely the worst CTB method ever.

I had an uncle who set himself on fire by accident in his shed. It was never quite clear how this came about exactly. It definitely was not suicide. He did not die right away, that took another 8 days.

I get the feeling this method would leave you permanently disabled and not kill you. It goes without saying but the death would be incredibly painful. And living with those kinds of brains and deformities? That sounds even more painful. Wind can put out small fires and I'm not sure if the fire (assuming it's a full body) would be big enough such that the wind would intensify the flames.

If you set yourself on fire you are likely to be saved, and if nobody finds you you could start a fire that spreads and make life miserable for everyone else. There are better methods for ctb. Wouldn't recommend this...

You might want to Youtube "Vietnamese monks immolate themselves to protest war". This was from about 1963. These guys sat, bowed their legs, and had gasoline poured on them, and set themselves on fire. They never flinched a bit as they turned into charcoal and tipped over. I guess enlightenment worked for them.

I was extremely angry and down. I didn't care if it garaunteed death or not I wanted to do it the next day. I don't think I would do this now. If there is something affordable to end my life with.

Good. Self immolation is a bad move, obviously. It's unimaginable pain with a significant chance of survival. And just imagine the recovery.

I'm glad you're thinking things through. I would absolutely guarantee you would regret going for this method. Life can suck, all of us here knows this through experience, it'll suck even more when such extreme and rash decisions take over.
