• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I hope you'll place it in your suitcase and not the luggage you'll take on the plane with you, first of all. That'll make you look a lot less suspiscious, but I'm sure you likely already thought of that.

As funny as it will sound, I couldn't come up with a better excuse than ''I'm a BDSM fan'' or something. Although that definitely is a hit or miss in chances depending on the mood of the TSA agent that day and takes guts to drop just like that in the middle of TSA. Rope usually is for emergencies, climbing, and crafting. All three of those options are open answers they will ask you more about, but maybe you can alternatively work something out with those.

Where are you going? Rope can be bought pretty much anywhere in the world... It's a very basic item. Shops for hardware, camping/outdoor activity, probably even sports stores or some general/department stores... I would maybe consider if it's possible to buy rope wherever you're flying to instead of taking it on a plane with you.

right, but there won't really be many hardware stores, it's like a beachy area, and it can't just be any rope

Shibari. It's become quite popular even outside traditional BDSM contexts.

My first thought was crafts, maybe some sort of work project.

...though the BDSM excuse might skip additional questioning

what about something like "it's just something my girlfriend forgot to bring back home (to her country) the last time she visited me (in my country)"?
does that spark any other ideas, now that i said that?
bc idk if that alone is gonna work...
i could say it's something for her car or whatever.
then they would probably say "to do WHAT for her car?"

You could give excuses like camping or crafting but you don't need to overthink that much at all. It is very unlikely they would question it to be honest.
And don't overcomplicate the answer, it will raise even more suspicion if you expand your lie little too much.

Towing / securing a trailer and load, stabilising a crumbling outbuilding / shed, maybe at a relatives property or something. Simply future proofing for those sort of things. You're planning a camping trip. You have or intend to assemble a workshop type thing at home. Replacing some old worn rope you had. Building a treehouse or rope swing for the grandkids, or yourself. Building any chunky garden structure like a chicken run.
Say you quite like the feel of it around your balls, whilst staring at his.
If they push as to why you bought it abroad, say you like the rope, you had trouble sourcing the same at home, it was a good price, impulse buy, etc. You were drunk. Anything.
Why would they be suspicious. It's just rope. Tell 'em to f* off and keep walking (actually dont do that lol).
