• Hey Guest,

An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.

Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

802 I am going to try to slowly get off my "anxiety" medication as I find their only use to be is that it makes it easier to sleep but I have built a tolerance to it so its useless. I still think they could be useful in the case I am in intense mental pain and maybe just sleep the pain away as I don't have any effective methods so I am forced to deal with continuing life but it should only be used then so I don't build tolerance to it again. So I might be awake longer today.

ugh, that sucks. judging by how "anxiety" is in quotations, i'm assuming these aren't actual meds for anxiety?

They were given to me for anxiety and to calm my intense emotions but honestly it doesn't actually help when I go into extreme mental pain whether thats due to it building up or a trigger and when that isn't happening it dulls my less intense emotions so it make me feel even more empty so its not helping me either way except if I want to sleep more.

that's horrible. i'm really sorry to hear. have you tried anything that could potentially help? this isn't the most medical(?) thing to suggest, but i really like listening to green noise when i get terribly anxious. it clears my brain in a way i can't describe. just. no thoughts, head empty

thank you <3 I have tried some stuff and it can work sometimes but after using something for quite a few times it loses its effectiveness and the best the thing can do now is only slightly distract me but that feels like I am bottling up emotions and I am still going to be just as upset when I stop using the thing thats supposed to help me.

Oh wow I just heard the green noise and omg so much less thoughts. I do have a little uncomfortable feeling in my ears tho. Does this have any negative effect on hearing?

woo! super glad it helped. and not that i know of! if it gets tiring or irritating on your ears, absolutely feel free to stop listening and go back to it another time. the effects should linger even hours later (they typically do before i go take a nap)

I decided to look it up and most sources say it doesn't cause any hearing loss. Thank you so much for introducing this to me <3

yooo. nice to hear! i'm going to try having two tabs open (one with the green noise, the other with either music or some sound) and i'll let you know if it's still effective.
