Are you going to get the anti-nausea prescriptions? Let me know how you do it.
I actually mentioned how I did this in a post yesterday, as someone was asking how to go about getting a prescription for Meto as they were interested in the SN method and wondering if faking a migraine would be a good way to go. I suggested that perhaps using a more honest approach might work better. I had been to the Dr myself the day before and had asked for a prescription for Meto. I said to the Dr that I had nausea, that was the excuse I gave.
Sometimes its better when your going to the Dr to be as honest as possible with your presentation and why your wanting the medication. (I have included this here partly for the humor factor, but also to be REALLY CLEAR HERE because one particularly challenged individual yesterday thought that by being honest i meant
Go tell your Dr that your planning on committing suicide, so could they please prescribe some Meto for Nausea to take alongside the Sodium Nitrite, ) Using "fake migraines" usually dont work as Drs are attuned to seeing people come to clinics presenting with "text book" symptoms to get Opiates etc So going to the Dr and saying Ive got nausea could I please get some Metoclopramide, Ive had it before for nausea and it worked really well.... Using a more honest sounding approach is going to fly over alot easier with a Dr than faking migraines, or other illnesses. Drs receive alot of training in identifying patients presenting with "drug seeking" behaviour, so its best to go in as natural as possible. This is why I have always said when you go to see a Dr be as honest as possible so as not to alert the Dr to anything untoward. Now obvious as this is to most people (I know there is the odd one person here that it isnt obvious too) but when i say be as honest as possible, I use the example above when i went to the Dr myself, I said I was nauseus and that I need a script for Meto because this is what had worked for me before. Obviously I didnt have nausea, i lied, but this was a more believable, a more honest impression. I sat there silent, theres no need to look up google for nausea symptoms & then act them out for the Dr, simply just sitting quiet is all that is needed. Then I said that I had Meto in the past so I would like that again as that worked very well. The Dr was very sympathetic and started writing the script.
