I don't want a funeral and I don't want to be buried in a cemetery. I have a lot of religious trauma and the idea of my family possibly bringing in a priest or being religious at my funeral or even just the idea of being buried with crosses everywhere makes my skin crawl. I don't want to have someone messing with my body, adding all kinds of chemicals and shit either. I don't know if I believe in ghosts but I would definitely be a very angry one if that was done to my corpse...

I can relate. No matter how I die, I do not want a funeral. If a loved one would really like my ashes, then fine I won't take that away from them. Otherwise if it was allowed I'd be fine with just being thrown in the water or left to decompose somewhere my body could be beneficial. Please don't jump through any hoops or spend any money and please don't throw me a party lol. I think it's really uncomfortable but I totally understand others wanting one.

Oh I can definitely relate to that. I haven't managed to legally change my name yet and there's no telling if my family will honor it. But I hope that if we're remembered it'll be by our real names.

Honestly I'm just not really sure what can be done. I've considered making a will but that doesn't look good at my age since I'm pretty young for that. For now I've settled on writing down on a piece of paper what I want, but who knows if it'll be honored. I guess I won't be around to check lol

The idea of a funeral also bothers me so much (even of a natural death). I don't agree with being buried, or having any religious figures or even having people there. (Like if you ctb how can people show up for you when you're dead but not alive??)

I've decided i'm not going to write a will or not or anything because I'm certain whoever would handle my funeral would make it in a way that they have the greatest pleasure instead of respecting my wishes. I've signed to be an organ donor and my family told me if I died they would go against my wishes and fight for me to keep my organs. I think it's quite common to disrespect peoples wishes especially if they're young

A funeral is the most hypocritical thing there is. People who don't care about you your whole life, then come to your funeral for what purpose? I've already told my family I don't want a funeral, and fortunately they agree. After death, straight to the morgue and then burn. That's all.
