Blackpowder guns

I live in a country where you don't need a license for a blackpower gun (eg. a revolver). They are relatively cheap as well. Should I buy a "shotgun" or a revolver is enough? I'm thinking about Remington 1858, it's a popular bp gun in my country.

Definitely not under the chin, and temples can miss too.

Black powder does not have the power of modern weapons. They will still do the job but require more planning
