Hey. As for which method,many people say different things. I feel like short drop can be good since it's a done deal and some people claim you lose consciousness faster. But it is definitely terrifying. I'm going with partial if I choose to use hanging..(or SN).
Some people can't pass out with partial very easily due to anatomy,muscular neck, or maybe a fat neck(not an insult). With strong rope,full is most guaranteed to actually kill you. You could give Partial a try by practicing. If you have a beam or structure,you can hold the rope in one hand and pull against your neck while leaning into it. If you get weak or almost pass out,you'd let go of the rope. Just make sure there's soft padding(such as pillows) around you incase you pass out and smack your head. Practicing hanging is dangerous for some people with heart or blood pressure issues,even in such a way like holding the rope in case you pass out. So please only do this if you're positive you want to die. Especially if you secure the rope to the structure. Sometimes you feel fine one second then the next you can't stand up. That's how some people accidentally die from the choking game or pleasuring themselves.
Have you exhausted your options to live? Are you positive you want to die? Or are you conflicted? Please,please be sure that it's what you want if you do attempt.
If you're hellbent on suicide,check the threads on this website for partial. There's advice on rope positioning and so forth. Also ensure you have at least 45 minutes, from when you pass out, that you won't be interrupted. If someone "saves" you,you could become a vegetable. This could mean quadriplegic and you'd be in hell,just hoping your family or attorney would put you down.
