• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Though never been diagnosed or treated for any mental illnesses, I have a nail and lib biting BFRB that started since I was a kid that I think now I used as a coping mechanism for anxiety and stress.

Do you guys have any habits that you use as a coping mechanism?

I pick my skin, especially when I'm stressed. I started it when I was about 10 and I still have the habit. I'm 36 now.

My job. When I have creative work that is and when I'm absorbed enough in it, it can become a kind of meditative state for me. Not always though. Sometimes it's just as full of stress as other jobs.

I also used to have trouble with binge eating. That was pretty horrible. The scary bit is how easy it would be to just do it again at any point.

I also pick at my skin...and when stressed out I pull out my eyebrow hairs one by one until there's a small bald spot. I used to pull hair too.
Once I was on a train and some little kids across the aisle made similar eyebrow pulling gestures, so I guess it's noticeable by others...
