How are you today? I highly doubt we are in the same region so I sadly cannot suggest something beneficial but I hope seeing how people react to your situation will give you power to escape.

I'm heartbroken to hear about what you have to endure. It must be such a terrifying experience to be stuck with the person you thought loved you, just to realize that they abuse you, with no option to escape them.

I also suffer from bpd & chronic pain. I can't imagine the pain you must be in but maybe I am able to help a bit with sharing my experiences and thoughts on this.

I live with my ex who got absolutely furious once, I was scared about my safety. If you notice your partner threatening/harming and scaring you, a temporary place to flee to is the hospital. That's what I did when things escalated in my home. Since I have a history with mental health issues, I stayed the night in the psychiatric (area?) thingy. They were really kind to take me in and I can definitely recommend trying it to ensure your safety in emergencies.

In the long term, I think you could look into assisted living options for people with disabilities! I'm also looking for one since I want to get away from my ex but cannot run a household by myself. There are options with 24/7 help and ones that assist you with every day chores like shopping, cooking cleaning etc. that you can apply for. I recommend applying for the ones you can find in your area. They will most likely require a disability pass so it's important that you see what you can apply for with your mental illnesses and chronic pain! If you have questions, feel free to pm me. I truly wish you all the love in the world and hope that you find a safe home :( You are worth it, you matter. 💕

this reply is insanely helpful, i literally felt a garden of flowers bloom into my chest while reading it. thank you. thank you so much.
i didn't know assisted living for people with disabilities that are "invisible" existed. i've always thought about them and wished for them to exist; i have NO idea why i haven't tried to just look for them. i will definitely look into that option. thank you.

i also never even thought about using a hospital as a temporary refuge. that makes so much sense and i will definitely keep it in my back pocket. luckily he hasn't ever made me afraid for my life or safety in that way, unless it's when he's triggering me and antagonizing me purposely and i end up risking ctb or self harm from pure insanity, lol.

im being so genuine when i say thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart, for not telling me to "just leave".
im so sorry that you're able to relate to my situation in such a way that makes you able to understand what is and isn't realistic, attainable, or helpful to say.

you've really helped me feel so much less alone. thank you. i can't thank you enough for this reply aaaaah
