Similarly. I can listen. I'm good at that or so i was told. And yes, it can be useful outside one's life. Understanding, even if not feeling exactly the same as speaker, can lessen someone's suffering. Sometimes even a lot.

My actual random autistic skill is mental math. What I would give to trade this for something more practical, like music or art ability :c

Funny enough, I do have one skill that I am kinda proud (?) of, but is rather useless nowadays.
People tell me I have a really good sense of direction. When walking/biking around (anywhere, even new places) I have little mental mini map in front of me and I kinda always know where to go by checking landmarks, my direction so far and sun position.
For a long time I always thought that everyone thinks this way, also my family was fairly good with that. But over time I met tons of people who get lost right away and realized that maybe... It's not so common after all.
