If it's BH no you won't need to land on your head, anyway you land will kill you so honestly don't worry about that. Changing your position is hard as your body's natural SI will fight you mid air and you only have a few seconds. That's why I ended up landing feet first.
Where did you jump from please.
What injuries did u have ?
What was your thoughts just before jumping,do you have regrets?
Sorry lots of questions.x
From the right location it will work,I know the best spots,I've been researching this for ages it's a one shot deal as long as you can overcome the SI it's a done deal
Can u share the rights places with me.either here or pm x

That's ok. I jumped from an overpass. 25m. Injuries basically everything from my lower spine down. Lots of surgery, was in a coma on life support etc. Just before jumping was just thinking through everything in my life and how I felt I had to do it. My biggest regret is not being able to land on my head and so I was saved. Really fucking struggling with that all tonight. I can now never pee or have a shit again due to the damage. Should have gone to BH, hell I might do that very soon.

If it's not too much to ask, what injuries culminated for you to never to be able to shit and piss again? I'm not judging. For what it's worth I have some seriously unsightly scars and I would trade yours for mine without hesitation, not that that lessens the pain they cause you.... but I am just curious to what injuries you're dealing with after jumping

They are not sure to be honest. Either my spine as shards of it ended up in the spinal canal, my pelvis which was shattered or my sacrum which was shattered. It's the S nerves that have been severed if you google those. I'm able to walk (if you can call it walking) but my legs are basically all metal now as is my hip and pelvis. My left side has no feeling at all and my left foot hardly moves.
May I ask what your scars are from?

@Amz_Falls, so if you can't pee or poop, do they put like catheter or a bag to drain your pee? I'm confuse.

Now you scaring me, I mean you super nice, it the survive the jump that is scare me.

And I trust you when you say land feet don't matter if I plunge from the Preikestolen in Norway which 2,000 feet. When I fly down midair I just pray and say please please let me die, and bam. Let hope it all blackness by then.

Survival long fall stories scare me, so I have to increase my height from 1,000 feet to 2,000 feet, and no shit, if 2,000 feet is still not enough to kill me then I guess there really a God just want me to survive to punish me.
I would love to go higher than 2,000 feet but they say no need, since reach terminal velocity is 1,500 feet, you can't go any faster than that.

I did have a catheter but now I have to do what's called intermittent self catheterisation (ISC). Didn't even know such thing existed until this. Any of your locations will kill you so draw one out of a hat if that helps and then just commit to it, overthinking is what's causing you more distress.

Hi.
This is not a goodbye thread atm but i am on my way to beachy head.
I may want to share my last momennts and would like some company later when i arrive .is this ok ?
Please dont let me die alone xx

Hi, I'm new here but wanted to respond to your original post. You mentioned that you wanted some company and didn't want to die alone. I don't know if you are aware of this, but if you call Samaritans (116 123) so long as you don't give identifying details such as name or location and just say you want to talk, they will be with you right up to the end. They will only intervene if you ask them to or if you give some information by which the emergency services could trace you; but they believe in a person's right to self determination.

I don't know if this is of any help or comfort to you but I thought it might be useful for you or anyone here who might wish to hear another human being's voice in their darkest moments.

Kind thoughts
Darknessallaround xx

Are you sure about this? The Samaritans will talk to you and console you in yr final minutes whilst you are just about to ctb? I have never ever heard of that! They can trace calls too. That is an amazing service if they will do that- to stay with you and talk to you at the end :)

The caller's number does not appear on Samaritans phones and they themselves cannot trace calls, only the Police can do that, which is why it is important not to give any identifying information.

If a caller states their wish is to end their life, Samaritans will ask the caller if they want to talk about the reasons why, the feelings around it etc, they will try and help the caller to see if there is another answer to their problems other than suicide, but the final decision still rests with the caller. Samaritans are there as a non-judgmental listening ear, nothing more.

Fyi, if Samaritans think you are suffering a mental health crisis they can and will send police to your location if you have given it to them. Talking from experience as I was in my car at BH and was talking to Samaritans till I fell asleep but he told the police I was hallucinating. I was subsequently sectioned.
They also can refuse to stay with you in your final moments especially if it means hearing you scream down the head (again from experience)

chaplains work from about 8-9am through to midnight but are also on call. There is anpr both ends so if your a misper Pol will know straight away your there.

I can't say too much else about personal experiences as I could risk giving my identity to a prolifer.

feel free to inbox me tho. If i'm allowed to do that yet (im new)

I am nearby to the area maybe sometimes... 2N

hope this is helpful

but where is the right location? I read on another site it is between the two light houses and this is tormenting me as I always thought the bit near the red and white lighthouse looked highest.
also checking the tide times to go at low tide for max effect.

"Lighthouse Point" is most popular due to the sheer face of the cliff below. That is the point looking directly at the sea point lighthouse. There is some fencing to your right, if you were to step over that and walk forward you are at lighthouse point. Not the highest just the cleanest vs highest point. Likelihood of surviving a fall here is 0.00001 that would be assuming you fell with a partial parachute or in a very sturdy car. As a pedestrian chances are point blank 0.

SI Is the biggest problem not the face of the cliff. Tbh anywhere west of the "red and white" one would be fatal. Right up to and including Birling Gap which is not that high in comparison but still too high to survive. A man took his two sons with him by birling gap not all that long ago.

Tide times will make no difference to survival only to recovery of the body. Weather also plays a part in recovery as bad weather = no helicopter.
When the tide is in, you risk being dismembered as the sea smashes against the chalk.
At low tide you may explode. Putting it bluntly thats the truth. Most are however reunited with their limbs or head, sometimes the body or parts are found a little further away due to the tide moving them. Mostly though if you are found pretty soon after you get recovered within 12 hours. In the summer a bit sooner. Some bodies have degraded almost to nothing before being found as routine checks if the shoreline are not done as it is too costly. In other words leave a note or a backpack near to where you plan on falling.
