( think they are saying, anyone wanting to jump off with me-)what's your question exactly?
Yes.Is it a cliff?
stupid logic, there's other variables.. like the surface.. etcPeople have survived 33,330 ft and lower falls so 100% is unlikely.
My comment was in reply to the mention of height and 100% above mine. Height alone is not enough as you confirm.stupid logic, there's other variables.. like the surface.. etc
Please share story ?One man survived and was confined to a wheelchair - his wife left him after that. I did consider going to the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland and jumping off, though distance wasn't what put me off.
Beachy Head, the White Cliffs, the Suspension Bridge.. Here in England we are blessed with opportunity! The pavements no longer run with gold, but the cliffs and trees will forever be our friends!View attachment 118091
Went there for a recky today and this is the best spot I found. 137m high and a straight drop onto rocks with the tide out.
Coordinates of the spot are in the image.
Beautiful part of the world to CTB.
Saw one chaplaincy patrol. lots of walkers during the day so nobody approached me. Would have been very very easy to jump and it all be over. Although no method is 100%, I rate this pretty high for success and peace (if you're up for jumping).
Peace.
I'm hearing rumors there are patrol chaplains who will physically stop you and maybe you might get sectioned. Also, how will you know you've picked the right spot, because most of beachy head has protruding ridges that will increase your chances of surviving or possibly causing a slow painful death? I am looking at this option myself, but I need it to be meticulously planned. Also, it needs to be timed before the tide comes in or the sea will cushion your fall potentially leading to a slow death..Beachy head seems like a good option!
Thanks very much for the coordinates! When I went I couldn't really find a decent spot. Didn't see any chaplains and nobody bothered me while I was sat at the edge for a while so definitely easy to go that way if you have the courage.View attachment 118091

It's the policy of the chaplains not to touch you - they're there to try and talk you out of it not restrain you. There are lots of ridges though so worth doing a recce like OP has to avoid being an idiot like me and walking up and down for an hour crying.I'm hearing rumors there are patrol chaplains who will physically stop you and maybe you might get sectioned. Does it actually feel like that high of a jump? The pics don't make it look that highView attachment 118091
