Thinking of taking a solo vacation later this year or early next and then CTB (if I change my mind, go home and have had a nice holiday, win-win). I've never been to the UK.
Just wondering if anyone has general advice for an outsider on this area... particular spots to jump, when is it less crowded etc.
And unrelated to suicide, where would you recommend staying overnight, or nice places to visit in that general area? Feel free to dm

(I've always had a fixation on this place because of that song "Clover Over Dover" lol)

Kent has a few National Trust sites which are mainly historical landmarks and nature reserves/Gardens which can be either interesting or a really nice sight to see to calm down and collect yourself, places like Canterbury have a lot of history and stories if you're interested in that stuff. Theres also Countrysides there which are beautiful near to places like Chatham. There's Herne Bay where I used to go to a lot when I was younger which is really calming since there aren't that many people there on some days.

A solo vacation sounds wonderful. I've never been to the UK, either, so I can't offer any suggestions of where to go or what to see.

I'm not familiar with the song, "Clover Over Dover." I'll check YouTube and see if I find it.
