attempted hanging, seeking advice or another method

I have been attempting to CTB by hanging for the last few days. My only anchor point is a door handle (not knob). I first tried with a robe belt and while it felt right, i was worried it would slip off the handle if i began thrashing. I then attempted with 8mm shabari rope which I anchored to the handle on one side and then closed the door. The height of the noose made the positioning rather uncomfortable.

I'm unsure of what to do now. I want to CTB quickly, and sourcing SN has proven to be rather difficult. I'm hoping to be gone by tomorrow but I feel like I am out of options.
I wish I knew where to find fent. I live in OR so im sure its easy to find i just dont know where to look.
