Hi everyone, planning on fsh (full suspension hanging) off a 15m tall isolated bridge. It would be great to have any tips. This is my current plan and materials:
Rope:
- 8mm x 10m high strength polyester rope (https://www.bunnings.com.au/grunt-8mm-x-10m-high-strength-rope_p4310551)
Knots:
- Slipknot for the noose
- Bowline for anchor point on bridges metal guardrails
Plan:
- Buy rope prior to ctb attempt
- Practice tying the knots
- Arrive at bridge around 1-3am (Red Bridge in Beenleigh Aus)
- It is alongside a motorway but this late at night and in the dark I don't think it will matter. I have no bridges nearby where I live and this will be in a separate town so police are delayed in finding me.
- I will definitely be reported a missing person to police by my family who are currently supervising me post an extended hospital stay following a suicide attempt and suicidality.
- To circumvent phone tracking, will have my phone switched off most of the journey. I will need to bring my phone for directions for some of the way however.
- Leave suicide note to family printed in backpack next to my body on the bridge.
- Noose goes around my neck and a short drop to full suspension hanging (do not want drop hanging).
Questions:
- How long should the drop be to avoid drop hanging?
- How long should the rope be in total approximately, if I am 5'4 and 60kg and want full suspension but not drop hanging?
- How should I avoid passer-by's finding me before death in case of the low likelihood anyone passed by at the time it will be at?
- How to avoid police tracking by missing person report from family?
Thank you in advance!
