Venting at this point, why?

Why should I stay alive where I'm such a reject to the point people get irritated just by the mere sight of me? I could be just existing, just enjoying things, minding my own stuff, and people will find a reason to be angry at that, calling what such a selfish prick I am , and then reminding me how my time could've been used for something better that could actually contribute to other, at this point, I'm rejected to just exist

I agree. Life is so full of expectations and demands put upon us. Why do others feel entitled to do that? Probably because they buckled under the pressure to comply themselves. Maybe it even made sense to them to. The education, the career, the house, the spouse, the car, the children to start the cycle all over again.

I'd like to say 'no' too. I suppose I have to some extent. I don't comply to a lot of the usual expectations. I couldn't cope with the lecture if I couldn't support myself though so, I reluctantly do some things. I'm not imposing that on my (non existent) children though. I think it's cruel.
