Method arteries / jugular?

I apologize for this being super graphic, but for some reason I'm too scared to have any sort of plan involving a firearm, but I will want to go quickly. I was wondering if severing an artery was possible? I know there are muscle and other factors but I'm specifically considering the one pulse point in my neck? From the minimal research I've done if you do it right you can black out within seconds after so you won't feel any pain or panic (I would hope at least to do it that well) but I'm unsure

Don't apologize, it's okay.

Unfortunately, that requires a LOT of strength and precision to the point of being unrealistic. Chances are high you'd be injured to the point of authorities being involved. Blocking the carotids is much more realistic (psh/fsh).

I hate to be that person, but you'll have to pick a new method. :/ You can check the pinned resource compilation thread if you haven't already.
