nope, I never cared for it and will very happy to leave it after its gone.. I might have had a plan for cremation but do whatever with it and let the government pay for making my body the way it is... like child support, literally life support since you took away freedom of speech to begin with...

i used to, but i dont think i'm really worried about how i'll look anymore. people are probably going to be more concerned with me being dead than my appearance haha. the first time i attempted, i practically dressed up because i didnt want to be half naked when people found my body. now i dont think i would care.

Somewhat. I feel post mortally embarassed about certain things. There again, I've done jobs/education where you are working with naked people (care work, life drawing, not prostitution! I don't have the looks for that). You're there to do a job ultimately, you're likely not making all the judgements we might anticipate surrounding appearance. I remind myself, people dealing with dead bodies do this all the time. They've seen all shapes and sizes. Hopefully, they'll be sympathetic but then, I won't be alive to know their judgement either.

I used to be so embarassed about my weight but then realistically, I likely don't weigh as much as a big, strong healthy man. I hate the idea of inconveniencing people but then, ultimately they chose and are being paid to do that job I suppose.

I don't have huge issue with being ugly in death much more than I did in life. I just hope I'm not too repulsive for people dealing with it.

The day before my death I intend to shave and take a nice bath. The day I die with sn I intend to wash my face well, put on makeup and nail polish, choose the best outfit available and choose the best jewels, as well as perfume myself. I want whoever carries out the autopsy to find himself in front of a well-kept body/corpse.

The body does not belong to anything we are, because, in reality, we are nothing. Talking about my appearance after death makes no sense, because it is not even "my" appearance. There is no "my" in any of this; it is simply a result of biology and its evolution, a random and deterministic product that has no connection to an identity or essence. I did not choose anything about this body: not its shape, nor its features, nor its fate. Everything about it was shaped by blind and impersonal processes that have nothing to do with me.
The very idea of a "self" is baseless. There is no "true self," nor anything that can be defined as stable or authentic. Every perception of identity is an illusion: a tangle of experiences, conditioning, and impulses that overlap without a central core. The actions we believe we perform, the thoughts we think are ours, are nothing more than reactions determined by external and internal causes beyond our control. In truth, there is nothing about us that is truly ours.
Even the body, this biological organism, is an inefficient and cruel mechanism, designed by nature not to ensure well-being, but to perpetuate itself through reproduction, at the expense of repair and longevity. It is not my body, and it represents nothing of what we think we are, because ultimately, we are nothing. Nothing about it belongs to us.
If I were to kill myself with a method that made the result worthy of a horror movie, I would simply be exposing the horror of life itself, without masks. It wouldn't be my body being destroyed, but a biological organism I never chose to inhabit. Death, in this sense, would not be a spectacle, but a raw reflection of what life truly is: a meaningless mechanism that produces suffering as its inevitable outcome. Anyone witnessing such a scene shouldn't avert their gaze but instead face reality for what it is: a purposeless system perpetuating pain. Destroying this organism would mean breaking the cycle of suffering, ending a process we never chose and that has no reason to exist.

I'll be 55 next month. I quit caring long ago about how I look, so I sure don't care how I look after I'm dead.

I've got the plans set(almost) to go in the woods. I don't want my body to be found period. Where I die is where I rot.

I am somewhat concerned given that probably one of my loved ones will have to officially identify my body. I don't know how it works in other countries, but in my country you would personally have to identify a deceased person. Which means someone I love and care about will identify me. That thought freaks me out...

Exactly. How can I care about my body if I'm not in my body anymore? I mean, if we're talking about life after death, and, for example think, in the afterlife, "gosh darn it, I don't like my ugly body now that it's dead, I wish I would have done things differently!" that's another thing but I don't believe that's the case. I wouldn't mind giving back to nature, having the vultures and scavengers have their fun with me, which could be accomplished if it's done in the wild but that's probably not going to happen for me.

I don't really care about my appearance after death. But I do somewhat care about the reaction of certain teachers of mine before, especially about my religion teacher in 9th grade. He said he didn't want to hear news about any of his students committing suicide. I kind of want to see his reaction after my death, if ever lol.
