One time I was a in a clinic. I was really suicidal and always talked about it how I would do it. During that time I cared for a mentally handicapped girl and tried to help her. One female nurse was kind of suprised and told me something like "at least you are not evil". I thought about that sentence a lot. Probably too much as usual. I am sure that woman was religious. I don't like how many christians deal with suicide. They often judge you (you will go to hell) or tell that you are crazy. Her first thought must have been he wants to ctb, he must be evil.
I really doubt all people who ctb are sinners. This narrative should just cause a guilty conscience. Many people who ctb are victims of crimes, abuse, violence or bullying (just like me). On the other hand I have to admit I know many very evil people who have ctb. Like all the nazis, probably Epstein or people who take other innocent people with them. If people don't abide by the law they can end up in prison or other horrible conditions and then they need to ctb. However not every person who does not abide by the law is evil. (Just see buying N)
Of course one could debate if there are genuine evil people in this world. At least for me I think there are. For example Hitler.
