Discussion Are animals religious? Do animals believe in God?

Are animals religious? Do animals believe in God? How come humans are the species on earth that is religious and believes in God? No other plant or animal on earth is religious or believes in any god. We don't see animals pray and worship God. We don't see animals attending church voluntarily. How come animals don't sense God's presence and existence? Animals aren't dumb. Animals can easily sense another animal or human presence and existence. Does that mean that God and religion is man made by humans and only for humans?

Animals worship in different ways, as when wolves howl at the moon, or when elephants hold rituals for fallen comrades..

Whether animals are "religious" is subject to speculation - we simply casn't ask them and they can't reply in a language we are able to understand.

Religions are man-made to control the masses of people by fear. That is one aspect of religion the other is mankind doesn't understand so many things and religion is an explanation for so many things that we cannot comprehend.

Animals don't care about anything but living their lives and procreating for keep the species alive - humans care about more than just that. Why? We don't know why we are more conscious than other living beings.

Okay, let me rephrase: many scientists believe that some animals, especially higher mammals like chimpanzees and dolphins, have forms of intelligence and self-awareness, although not to the same degree as humans.
