  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Folks seem to be pretty hard up here for sources, but just punching "buy sodium nitrite" and searching yields several legit-seeming results, several of them domestic (to Canada). Most of them also look affordable for ridiculously huge quantities. I'm just curious if sources like these are known to be bogus for one reason or another, given people are only ever really talking about IC (which I have a hunch as to what the full site name is but not sure), while it seems so easy to find the stuff.

I've noticed the majority of sources I was able to see not to long ago take me to 404 pages. The ones that don't will direct me to nitrAte instead. And whenever I do actually see nitrite it will be on a "research chemicals" site that will ask for business credentials somewhere during the checkout process, the few that I've tried atleast. It's become tricky now when just a few months ago you could add to cart and check out as easily as you would buying a toy.

The search results still yeild the same hits though. I guess algorithms will catch up eventually and start knocking the old sn pages off.

Yeah there's a few of them that are legit.
And I don't require any special license. They also ship globally.
Eventually the people lurking the website will make sure that they get those shut down also.
Or restrictions placed on it at least.

Yeah, I searched it on Amazon some months ago and was pretty sure the products were legit, unless there are red flags I'm unaware of.

Finding SN if you're in America or Canada isn't as hard as finding sources for it in certain other countries for example in Europe, as North America does not seem to have the same restrictions and regulations imposed on SN as the EU has enforced in a lot of EU and EEA countries. Wheter or not the sources you find on American Google or Canadian Google domain is legit or not, I cannot judge. I use Norwegian Google engine and so my search results will differ so you will have to try and judge that yourself.

Don't mention the site by name, it's against the rules. Some people like to call it something else, but I wont mention the nickname unless you edit away this one from your post.

@lionetta12 that makes sense; @Fktw0rld I tried opening a handful and they were live, but I didn't try buying so perhaps it might be the second issue. Couple of them seemed to be culinary-type things. At least one did say it contained "anti-caking agents" - would that be a problem? Maybe I should just try buying one and see what happens, hah.

I'm in the US and though many things pop up on google most of those companies are a no-go only shipping to schools/institutions or legit businesses. Also as mentioned, results pop up for nitrate as well as pink curing salt which does not have even 10% SN within the product. Then of course there are dead links to items that are no longer manufactured (encountered this mainly doing image searches out of desperation) or removed from jungle site.

Sorry but SN has been restricted in Canada for years. You can still get it though....I actually used .com and a foreign brand name for the stuff. Received several shipments. They just become available periodically. Jungle site. My preference is liquid nitrogen...have yet to finda source. Serious lung condition and exit bag will not work for me.
