I'm specifically staying alive so I can see the upcoming Madoka Magica movie, but after that...not really. I kinda want to go out to EVO or something like that, but it's not something I'd hold up my death for.

Honestly, I'm dying so I don't see how things turn out, i.e. climate change and total social/economic collapse.

So goofy but being around long enough to visit Japan and a couple other places was my first thought.

I have a list of skramz bands and stuff that I want to see there. Miku would be cute to see too, I'm seeing Yameii in a couple months so maybe I can just be delusional and knock that one off of my list. I want see Europe too. I feel like it's cruel to myself to not see the things that I still want to.

I want to see what happens when AI takes everyone's jobs. Will the government give us all some very basic life on welfare? I hope they'll allow us to eat real food and not some nutrition slop.

i really wish i could meet up with my best friend. we met online in 2019, n we've been friends ever since. we've talked about meeting up since 2021, but even back then i knew i wouldnt be alive for that to happen. theyre one of the greatest, strongest people ive ever known, n they helped make me into the man i am today. i cant imagine my life without them in it. i can never fully describe my love for them, no amount of words will ever do it justice.

on a less serious note, id want to hear the next nick cave and the bad seeds album, but im not as concerned about that.

the next fire emblem game, a remake of one of the older games i'd really really really like to see. Also I really adored seeing my ex in her lolita outfits and she has an amazing eye for style. There is this one anime that I really like. I've read all of the light novel counterpart that's been released up until now, and would like to see the third season of the anime.
Also I would like to see whether someone invents true artificial general intelligence (AGI). This would be a computer that has the same mental processing capabilities as a human, basically a sentient being but inside a computer. I think this is possible because I believe the human mind is just an information processor, and the brain is just a physical medium which houses and allows the mind to function. A computer would also be able to provide a physical medium for a mind to exist.
Since people would be able to freely design how the AGI works, this sentient being would not have undesirable, inherently human characteristics such as selfishness.
AGI would completely revolutionize the world because it would remove the need for people to work. AGIs would be able to take over jobs like food production, manufacturing, and many others, so that people would be able to get goods and services without having to do anything. It would mean free food, shelter, etc. for everyone, and would allow people to be truly free to do the things that they want. In my opinion, this is the ideal future for humanity. Of course, all this assumes that people are selfless enough to establish a system like this, which is not a guarantee. If AGI is invented, then people might just be dumb and use it for stupid purposes like fighting wars and ruling over the masses.

Visiting the Kennedy Space Centre as a child and seeing that Saturn V rocket laid out in sections was awe inspiring.

There's so much anime that I will unfortunately and hopefully never get to see the end of. It's bittersweet, I would love to know how they end, but if I find out that just means I've been suffering for longer.

Especially Ascendance of a Bookworm. I cried a lot watching that show.

I wish I could finish writing my light novel series before I ctb. I have 1 series that is almost ending in the current volume and a new series that is about 6-8 volumes long at most. I will probably die first before finishing the new series.

The solution to the Riemann Hyptothesis. Aside of that, just solutions to a bunch of open problems in math, physics and CS. Someone here mentioned the first functional fusion reactor. We managed to do that just a year ago or so, but I would like to see whether people can improve it enough to be used as a genuine power source. Or maybe people can find some way to solve the problems behind the Navier-Stokes equations and maybe it's something so revolutionairy, that fluid dynamics could be changed from the ground up. Idk.

Also, I guess as a huge VTuber fan, something like HoloEN4 debuts. I remember wanting to CTB around the time EN3 was anticipated and waiting for a long time, just because I couldn't miss out on them.

I'm also curious what culture will become the next big thing (either worldwide or at least in the USA). We have French "art" films, Chinese kung-fu movies, British film and television, Japanese anime, and Korean pop music. What's next? Maybe Bollywood will get its day in the sun. Or how about post-Soviet horror? Maybe something completely unexpected, like an Islamic country liberalizing and creating a whole new genre of media influenced by Islam.
