Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

A few months ago I tried to do partial hanging and almost succeeded, im determined to do it again during the summer but I want to talk to people who are interested in this method, share thoughts, ideas and etc.
hey i have been trying partial for 6 month, i just got it once right and passed out but survived, but im really intrested to know how you survived and what did you feel befor you went unconscious.
I used a belt. Closed the door on it. It worked great! I practiced a few times and blacked out once. The belt wasn't secured well enough and I woke up on the floor. I doubt I was out for more than a few seconds. That was 5 years ago.
It was surprisingly simple. It felt like it worked so quickly that I didn't even have time to panic. Before blacking out, I tried to stand up as it was only a practice, but my legs had no strength. If I had thought to put something like a screwdriver in one of the belt holes to stop it from slipping out, that would've been it for me. Quick, easy, painless. I think that's part of why I haven't tried it since. Now that I know how easy it is and how to make it foolproof, it'll be there when I need it, but I haven't felt quite as bad since back then.

Curious, did your set up fail? Were you interrupted? And on my end, I'm curious if I could ever be successful at partial....it seems like a relatively benign way to go, but I'm afraid I would chicken out.

Hi, I described my experience before on this forum of how I survived but I can't be asked to look for it so I will just repeat myself.
I tried to apply pressure from a kneeling position, on the first few attempts I started feeling dizzy and slowly passing out, but I couldn't overcome my survival instinct and kept backing away. I was starting to get really frustrated but I was motivated and didn't want to quit until I would have passed out. I dont remember anything beyond this point, not even the attempt I passed out from which I guess makes sense because you are not really aware when you pass out, its sudden.
Now this is where it gets interesting. Out of nowhere I regain consciousness, and even before I could open my eyes, my brain started playing this scary scenario of me being choked to death, literally thats how it seemed like. Also my survival instinct I assume made me sub-consciously scream like it was a cry for help, I can also recall trouble breathing, im guessing from the amount of stress. But the screams and noise I made turned out to be all in brain, and not like actually screaming, because I live with other people and it would have waken them up.
Im still trying to understand what can i do to prevent this from happening when I plan to attempt partial hanging again.

mine was diffrent. after the rope snapped, after i regain consciousness, i remember laying on the ground with open eyes, i could see but it was all verry blured, i was still hearing the same musik but the song was messed up, like i was hearing it diffrent. and i was paralaysed i couldnt move, it felt like hours but it was only couple seconds.
i fully regained consciousness and was very confused looked at the timer and only a min and 10 sec passed by since i was unconscious.
after that i just had strong headache , a bleeding arm, and throat pain.
Have you ever done the thing where you are about to fall asleep and you startle yourself back awake? Either as I was about to go unconscious or, I am assuming, shortly after losing consciousness, I kept doing that. My SI just kept waking me back up.
As far as improvements, I would probably just make sure I am in a definitive mental state ready to die. I want to go in as mentally calm as possible to hopefully prevent SI from kicking in. However, in the future I might also switch to full suspension to avoid the problem altogether.

Yes thats how my first few attempts that night went, until one of them was just enough to make me unconscious. If you would like to avoid that, try getting a sleep mask (was suggested to me by another member) to hopefully mitigate your SI, especially when you are starting to get dizzy and your vision starts to get blurry as well. So that with maybe your favorite song playing might be the solution.
