I mean, I am barely an adult, and idk how I would even successfully publish it, but I would like to try and leave a book that would maybe make it easier for people to understand suicidal people. If you want we can chat about stuff, or you can just send me a few words and your thoughts about these topics and I would make a part in a book where I would include all of it.
Topics I will discuss in it(not in this order):
-mental illness and suicide
-mental hospitals/hospitalizations
-peoples involvement in ones suicidal ideations
-prevention of suicide/how to help
-forums (will not name anyone, or the name of this site, I will overall talk about sites like these)
-getting out of the rock bottom
-coping mechanisms
If you have any idea of the topic I should add comment or pm me :)
I would looooove for this to work out, I love convos like these so I think I would be able to write this well.
If you wanna be included, just know that I will make everyone anonymous.

Good luck with finding people here with motivation for that.

Most of us are struggling to wash n wipe our own* asses daily.

Good luck to you on it though.

Sounds neat, and theoretically you could self-publish it to Amazon, though I don't know the specifics of how. I'd like to contribute, will likely reply to this post again later.

I'm sorry but I must say it. This thread sounds like some attempt at a study. Not really buying it.

You're a member, you have access. Why not just use the 1MM+ threads here for your book.

EDIT: This is someone who found this forum through Tantacrul. I hope this person will not exploit you. Those Fixers have exploited others here and left them in shambles so be careful. Everyone isn't who they say they are.

That's verry complex idea since we all come from different backgrounds. Pain, fear, wortlessness, hopelessness. How we can help, is to help them to regain their power.

If you can't find a publisher, you can always publish it on the internet.

I would like to try and leave a book that would maybe make it easier for people to understand suicidal people.

Not trying to criticise, but wondering which angle this will come from. When you say for people to understand suicidal people, do you mean to help people understand how to help suicidal people, or to help people understand why suicidal people should have the right to end their suffering peacefully?

That's verry complex idea since we all come from different backgrounds. Pain, fear, wortlessness, hopelessness.

I ask this because as @dOn'tJuDgEyOuRsElF says, people can be suicidal for a number of reasons, and not everybody wants help. Some people are beyond that sort of help, i.e. those in intolerable pain or suffering due to chronic/terminal illnesses. Some people struggling with mental illness related suicidality can be offered help that can lead to recovery, and I think real life opinions on what others can do to help people in that situation from people with lived experience would be great. But I think you are more likely to find those people on the recovery side of this forum. I can't speak for everyone here but I consider myself to be beyond that point, I've had a lot of help, therapy, support etc, but my situation is imo irrecoverable. I think it will be a struggle to encapsulate the varied experience of those of us in that boat just due to the broad and complex range of life experiences that have brought us to this point.

If, on the other hand, what you are meaning is to include some testaments from suicidal people about why we want the kindness, compassion and humanity of a peaceful departure, that's another story (excuse the pun). I'd be happy to write something to that effect before I catch that long awaited bus.

Well, I wanna address all that. It will not be "everyone needs help so help" or "just let all suicidal people die". It will address every situation I can think of, my thoughts, others thoughts, facts etc.

I just wanna say, I think people should have to understand both sides. Side that can get help but is just so miserable that they think they cant, side that wants help but people just dont know what to do and how to help, side that is suffering from terminal illness or just cant get better and how to help them feel as comfortable as we can as well as give them right to choose, side that is going through immense pain and how to be there for them etc etc.

Tf? I dont want to put others thoughts against their wishes. Like, to just pick out their posts and put them. I want people to want to be a part of it. And no, this isnt a fucking study, what i want is to at least try and make a change in this world before I die. The book prob will never get published, but I guess it gives me motivation to at least try.

that sounds pretty interesting. I'd love to help, but idk if I'm the most capable for that or not lmao. Though, I'd personally arrange the topics related to suicide and what it is at the start, and then to the causes, consequences and solutions (its basic but i think it works well). idk if this is already in your plan or not, but suicide philosophy, the right to die and suicidal outside of mental illnesses are some things i think could work in here. sorry, i make kinda shitty suggestions lol, but hope that helps in any way.

Sure there are many but there aren't any asking for personal contributions to publish something and make money off of it.

You're just a random person on the internet like myself that noone knows. The only difference between me and you is that I'm not asking for anything from anyone. I don't know you to verify anything. It is my right to post my respectful fair warning.

I didn't curse at you or anything of the sort. People are welcomed to say what they want in a respectful manner.

If your intentions are pure then there's no reason to be angry. Just show and prove. If I were the one doing it and were honest, I wouldn't give a hoot about anyone's posts or opinions of me.

Anyway, exiting this thread. I've said my piece.

If people wanna be a part, they can reply, if not, they dont have to.
And the reason why I got so pissed is because out of nowhere you came and with no proof said stuff that can make me seem like a pretty fucked up person, when in reality, I just wanted to try and make something, nothing more. Also, so what if I came from Tentacruls video? That doesnt mean I am here for the same intetions he was. Ive been on countless similar forums for years, its not like I just discovered all this new world.
