Thread I'm referring to. My dog had to be put down two weeks ago. I now have my CTB window open. I'm thinking around August or so.

I am terribly sorry for your loss. Pets are wonderful spirits that, IMHO, are here to save us from ourselves. As you are aware I am adamantly pro-choice when it comes to leaving this world but am glad to see you are not acting impulsively. Take your time and make sure you have all your ducks in a row. May you find peace in knowing your pet is not suffering and that they will be SO happy to see you when you join them. 💕💕🕯️🫂🫂

Fuck, man, I'm sorry to hear. I'm in much the same boat and cannot imagine how much longer I got once my dog is gone. I'm sorry that you're where you are, but I hope you find peace when you go through with things, and I'm positive your friend will be waiting for you.

There are thousands of dogs that need you. No joke. Thousands that are lonely, no one care for them, feed them, cure them. If you can become a caretaker even for one, for him all world change. Like ALL. The same as for you beloved one that passed away. I took one animal. Then I took the other. I bascialy changed around their all lives. If you cannot afford being a home care taker to one, just volounteer. You will make a real impact on their shitty lives for much better than if anyone is not taking care.

And remember. Your dog had much more better live given by you than being on streets alone. What would happen if not you?

True, they could always bring another dog into their life when they are ready.

Please accept my sincere condolences. It is incredibly difficult when a family member passes away. Your pet knew that you loved him. Animals are much kinder than people. May he rest in peace, may his memory be eternal

I lost one of my two dogs 4 weeks ago. She drowned, I was the one who found her. It was horrible. I found www.aplg.com; a group that helps people through this. It really helped- they have a chat group. I was in a pretty bad place for 3 weeks, a little better now.
