Anyone have bad brainfog?

I honestly feel like a zombie; depersonalized, cognitively impaired, etc. Honestly, I've always just blamed it on the depression -- but even when my mood had, fleetingly but significantly, improved the brainfog didn't go away: in fact, I just became all the more acutely aware of it. Idefk what it is... I'd rather die tho tbh, than be this stupid cognitively impaired idiot. Anyone have similar stories?

Yeah I've had it for years. It's ruined everything. I've wondered if it's a negative symptom of schizophrenia.

yeah, thats the thing. I'm not convinced it's all "depression"; though most certainly I do experience that often. It feels like it's separate; if anything, mostly I'm depressed because of the memory issues, focus, attention, etc. It could be sleep apnea, hormonal imbalances, etc.

Mine can be a total nightmare.. as suffer with hepatic encephalopathy.. .mood swings (bad ones) forgetfull, balance gone, confusion. Memeory loss.. compound that with insomnia, depression and anxiety it a total fuckin shit ahiw some days..

I'm very sorry to hear it... sounds really miserable to live with. I wish all of us could do something and just abolish all this goddamn pain and misery

Dissociation 24/7, came home from a walk and just stared at my screen for god knows how long. Eyes are kinda hurting. My memory has also gotten worse again recently. Conversations with others are incredibly difficult because I simply forget everything minutes later
