Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

"I thought of this crowd of suicides: more than eight thousand five hundred in one year. And it seemed to me that they had combined to send to the world a prayer, to utter a cry of appeal, to demand something that should come into effect later when we understood things better. It seemed to me that all these victims, their throats cut, poisoned, hung, asphyxiated, or drowned, all came together, a frightful horde, like citizens to the polls, to say to society :

"Grant us, at least, a gentle death! Help us to die, you who will not help us to live! See, we are numerous, we have the right to speak in these days of freedom, of philosophic independence and of popular suffrage. Give to those who renounce life the charity of a death that will not be repugnant nor terrible.""

Ideology is not my primary reason, but without getting on the soap box too much, my issues are pretty intertwined.

If the world's power structure weren't a disaster then it's reasonable to say that I'd not have grown up hungry and without adequate mental and physical health care, or guardians who wanted the best but were under unimaginable pressure that turned them into monsters.

These factors led to my enlistment, making bad things worse, and yet again: in a just society even these hurdles would be surmountable through the kind of health care available only to the wealthy currently.

So, while many humans have it much worse than I do, and while both their situation and mine are painful and lonely disasters because of "philosophy?"

My specific reason to catch the bus is being in needless pain and totally alone (from things other philosophies could mitigate if not eliminate.)

Antinatalism + Efilism are two big enough philosophical and logical reasons to ctb. The most logical ones ❤️
