Just realized that every Friday im more down than usual normally i can ignore my emotions to push through my work day but on Fridays every week I'm always worse than any other day of the week. Anyone know why this happens is it something my brain has attached to day maybe?
How do you spend your weekends? Do you have more time to think over weekends, or are there particular things you dread doing then? Maybe you feel more comfortable at work because it sets you in a routine? I think we can sometimes hate things like celebrations- Christmas, birthdays, weekends because we see how the 'normies' are seemingly enjoying themselves and it makes us feel more isolated/ abnormal maybe?

It's the same for me. I feel even more depressed when I am alone to myself for long periods of time. Especially on weekends. I get caught up in thoughts about myself and thoughts about myself are always negative. Damn it I don't remember the last time I was truly proud or happy about something.
Days don't bother me as much as time. After 8 pm, I am normally more relaxed than I am throughout the day. I actually slept for two days just recently, with the help of sleeping pills and alcohol. I sometimes do that when my depression is bad and to kill time. Dreams are usually more stimulating than this shit reality anyway.

Absolutely, those kind of days are usually Sundays for me, so I resort to trying to sleep through it as much as possible. :)
I heard that that is because it is the end of the week, or for Fridays, the end of workdays. We are exhausted from a long week and that may give our mind the right situation to let our thoughts spiral and just feel down in general due to being so exhausted.
Maybe trying to make plans on those days can help with it. It is hard due to lack of motivation, I know, but maybe we can make something work! :)
