I feel like just ending it sometimes but then the fear of God and like eternal punishment just makes me too scared to do it. Just wondering if anyone felt the same

I think we are already in Hell . I can't imagine a loving God would send someone to Hell for ctb cause they can't handle all the suffering of life.

I'm not afraid of going to hell, if it exists. If people like my parents are going to heaven, then I'll gladly be punished for my sins in hell.

Not trying to be annoying and challenge your faith, just pains me to know people continue suffering in life due to the belief in god and afterlives. Are you certain those things exist?

Not really it's always just been my parents planting that seed in my brain, not sure what to believe

It is the other way around. We are in hell: an industrial civilization that will lead to the greatest mass extinction on this planet due to overpopulation and pollution. Religion is only a human invention.

No.

Hell is already here when people see no other option but to kill themselves to find relief.

there is no hell.

A human is just another animal. does a mouse, fish, fly , cell , chemical reaction go to hell?

The brain is composed of brain cells called neurons. A neuron in a fly is exactly the same as in human brain. also called nerve cells. true insects have different brain structures than vertebrates . but all vertebrates have the same brain structure brain stem etc vertebrates like fish , mice, monkeys, frog, humans .

Anyone currently alive who lived through the shitshow of 2020 (that includes myself and everyone else on this website) failed to respond to the litmus test the way they were supposed to and will be damned to eternal hellfire. Primary source of my suffering actually, because I cannot handle the ramifications of reality.

Well it's good you are aware of the origin of religious thought, my immediate thought experiment would be to imagine that you were born in a different region to different parents. Basically, if you happened to be Christian born in the US, what is the likelihood that would be your beliefs if instead you were born in Iran. Religious beliefs are usually completely determined by people's upbringing unless they question the core concepts of the religion deeply until they find what truth can uncovered.

I was born into it and I find it hard to leave my faith. I'm a little worried about hell/afterlife, I don't know what to believe but I still believe in God/Jesus.

I'm still going against my faith by killing myself and ending my suffering in the near future.

I can definitely empathize that it's not easy to undo the upbringing you're brought into. I would love to hear your perspective of that thought experiment though. If you were born in Iran to Muslim parents and therefore were entrenched in those beliefs rather than the teachings of Jesus, you would go to hell based on rejecting the ideals of Christianity. So you are almost certainly destined to go to hell based off whether or not god makes you lucky enough to be born in the right environment. How is that the actions of a loving and just god?

The CTB = Ticket To Hell is a LIE spread by the Churches (which have been built on lies since AT LEAST the 1500s) that Christians who don't take time to really analyze the Bible with their own eyes parrot because their lame ass Churches told them so.

Google "Bible versus about suicide" right now. There is no direct Bible verse that pertains to suicide. Every single one listed is very vague and open to interpretation.

Now check out Matthew 16: 21-24. Jesus never HAD to die. He CHOSE to die. When Peter tries to talk him out of going through with the crucifixion he says "Get behind me Satan! You do not have on your mind the things of God, but the things of man!"

Clinging to this planet and it's trappings is not of God, it's of man. More enlightened Christian circles will tell you that Lucifer owns BOTH Hell and Earth.

As an aside, there's another Bible verse that I dwell on a lot: Revelation 9:6: "And in those days people will seek death and will not find it. They will long to die, but death will flee from them."

I feel like that's us right now. As we head into our Dystopian Future, what Christians call "The Tribulation" - I feel like the Pro-Life Psychosis that has poisoned society, especially in the last couple years, is the manifestation of that Revelations Verse happening in real time.

TL;DR: God and Jesus will forgive you if you CTB, and clinging to life on this Planet is more inherently Satanic than CTBing.

Yes sometimes life is so absurdly awful it feels like the test is seeing if we are dumb enough to keep going and going here.
Maybe the faith we're supposed to have is faith in death. Faith to overcome the fear and clinging to this shithole.

For any of us who believe, this is an obvious concern and one I still struggle with as well. There is only 1 unforgivable sin and it is NOT suicide. My advice would be to read your Bible, pray and get closer to Jesus. He knows how much pain we are in and what we can endure. Hebrews 13:14 says"For this world is not our permanent home; we are looking forward to a home yet to come" I believe that is why I have never been fully comfortable here. My hesitancy remains who chooses when it's my time me or God.
