• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I dunno. getting partial brain damage I get. but ive never gotten the fear of being a vegetable. my parents couldn't and wouldn't keep me a live like that anyway, shits expensive. but even still, what do I care? "I" wouldn't be in there anymore. I may as well be considered dead. I'm also not a spiritual or religious person, so maybe thats why. Thats still freedom from my circumstances as far as I'm concerned.

its always scared me especially after hearing about michael skolnik. he had severe brain damage from a surgery but was aware enough to communicate (through hand signals because he couldnt talk anymore) that he wanted to die. ive left out a lot of the story thats important but it terrified me.

There are different degrees of "vegetable". There might be quite a bit more of "you" still left in there than you might think. Unless you don't mind the idea of sitting in a dirty diaper & drooling all over yourself… being aware of it but unable to do anything about it, you might want to rethink your vegetable-friendly stance.

i dunno this is probably just my tendency to ignore consequences but I still don't really care. I'm also already disabled, bed ridden a lot of the time. so it might also be the disability advocate in me that really dislikes the way people talk about those with brain injuries. Still doesn't scare me. not that I think it would be pleasant.
