  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

When someone tries to help or offer advice, I get depressed and feel terrible. It's like I have an aversion to being positive. I wish I were dead.

It depends on the advice, but yes. Sometimes it feels like an attack, even though it probably really isn't. It's odd. And overwhelming.

It depends on the advice they offer and how they put it across.

If they try to understand how you're feeling and try to work through it it with you, that's fine.

But if they have no interest in understanding you, and it's a case of "you need to do this.....then you need to do that....." then yes it feels like they're not coming from a place of caring.

I got some really good advice the other day when I called a hotline. I was told to focus on self care and finding things I enjoy doing. A glimmer of hope lit up but then I remembered I don't change, I usually only get worse.

My parents notice when I'm going through bad days and ask me if I'm okay. I keep saying that I am cause I don't really know how to break it to them that their son is considering ctb. It always feels fake, and yeah, I feel terrible for deceiving them.
