Hello. I've dealt with some nice anxiety/depression. I am fine with it, I can handle it. What I cannot handle is the memory loss. It is fucking deliberating. That is the only fork in the road as I feel only my life is just beginning being still in my 20's.

Besides "talking to a counselor" or being put on meds which I'm about to come off of, can anyone dealing with their healing journey (and cognitive stuff) point me in a direction. I'm thinking about micro dosing shrooms, ketamine, HBOT. Literally anything to see some progress. My soul wants to live, but if its in this condition, I do not see the point.

Anything helps and I hope everyone an amazing healing journey.

yeah i can relate. its why i had to give up reading and studying for my ged/college. id read a couple sentences then have no idea whats going on so id have to re read and re read and re read and re read....and after trying to read the same paragraph about 10x i just gave up... that was several years ago and im still not reading or studying.....but i buy books hopeful one day i can... but im slowly giving up on my ged/college...it was just a "feel-good", for fun thing anyway i guess.

i wish i had some advice.. sometimes i do (maybe you can find some in my previous posts. things about baby steps, and everythings important, listen to yourself.) but rn im mentally "sick" and in more of a self reflecting phase i guess, so im sorry i can't be of more help.

it also depends on whats causing the memory problems. ex if its the medication then sometimes just stopping it fixes the problem (after its done working its way out of the system)

youre free to pm me though, maybe ill have some better advice on another day or we can just talk 🫂💜

I don't know that I have advice as much as just anecdotal experience. I never had a memory issue until I got 2020 related PTSD. I don't remember very much of what all happened during that whatsoever. I started having worse memory problems when I was using delta 8, but they cleared up when I stopped using. Keep your mind sharp.

Ok cool yeah send me a direct message. I'm new to this so I don't know how to send messages or anything of that sort. Thanks for your reply as well and being honest.

So you'd attribute your memory loss just do that PTSD incident and using Delta 8?

Delta 8 didn't cause my memory loss, it exaserbated it. Before then it was unique to selectively forgetting traumatic experiences for my own self preservation.

Sadly that option isnt appearing on your page. It just says "follow" or "ignore"

Add this to the 'a guy online saw an article title once' pile but I did see something about aspartame correlating with memory loss somehow. Made me shudder a bit because I was 'sugar free' for a long time.
